A New Era of Computers

The new era of computers has changed the way people communicate compared to the past decade. The digital era has shifted from traditional industries to economics based on computer information. The World Wide Web has been around since 1969, and is now globalized, accelerating the flow of information and pushing older media forms into obsolescence. A computer is an electronic device used to store, process and process data. Almost everything is electronic made or run by a computer. This device has become a popular way to collect collaborative information permanently. Business has become dependent on this type of digital machine to store their files, complete daily tasks, and track payroll. Practically, each house is equipped with several types of computer mechanisms. People now use this type of electronic device to share or exchange information, compared to traditional ways when people have face-to-face conversations. The new era of computers has caused people to interact and facilitate their relationships by using online dating, social media, and video conferencing.
Online dating sites now play an important role when it comes to taking part in romantic relationships. Online dating is the practice of finding romantic or sexual partners on the Internet. This will usually start with email confusion. However, the modern way of dating is to introduce people to each other or meet someone at the sports bar. The majority of people state that online dating is a good way to meet other people, and also more modern. People in this time period have felt comfortable expressing themselves with words that are contrary to their physical appearance, eliminating the possibility of judgment and bias. Fifteen percent of US adults report that they have used online dating sites or mobile dating applications (Smith 2016). Websites like Match.com and eHarmony.com are the number one trusted online dating sites for singles. This website will allow someone to join their network for free to start looking for love in their lives. People have a natural instinct for friendship, and the Internet has made the process of falling in love faster than those used centuries ago. Research has shown that online dating is more accepted from time to time and attitudes toward it become more positive (Smith & Duggan, 2013). It is also argued that the convenience and accessibility of internet dating will stimulate increased use and will help develop Internet dating into social norms (Brooks, 2011).

Social media sites have revolutionized the way people communicate and socialize on the Web. Social media is a website or application that allows users to share, create, or participate in social networking content. Facebook and Twitter are the two most popular social media websites in this new era. Facebook allows registered users to create profiles, upload images, share images, and upload videos. Receiving friend requests is the first step to starting friendships with other Facebook users. After friend requests are received, socializing can be started between the two users, but also can find more friends because it is accompanied by the number of photos uploaded. According to Abutaleb (2015) Facebook had 1.55 billion monthly active users on September 30, up 14 percent from the previous year. Of this total, 1.39 billion uses services on mobile devices. Facebook has influenced the activities and social life of people in various ways. Facebook allows people to use computers or cellphones to share photos, keep in touch with friends, relatives and other acquaintances wherever they are in the world, as long as there is access to the Internet. He has reunited lost family members and friends. Similar to Facebook, registered Twitter users can post and read tweets. Twitter is a good way to keep in touch with friends and increase student interaction. Companies and organizations seek online social marketing programs and campaigns in an effort to reach consumers. However, the challenge many companies face is that even though they recognize the need to be active on social media, they don't really understand how to do it effectively, what performance indicators they must measure, and how they should measure it. Furthermore, when companies develop social media strategies, platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter are too often treated as stand-alone elements rather than as part of an integrated system.
